This initiative is set to benefit around 2,000 athletes across the ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour, aiming to enhance their performance capabilities and ensure equitable opportunities for players at all levels.
This platform is the result of a strategic collaboration between ATP and PIF, focusing on elevating the sport of tennis through innovative technology and improved data accessibility. ATP Tennis IQ Powered by PIF provides real-time analytics, including advanced scouting reports, video analysis, and insights derived from wearable technology.
Ross Hutchins, ATP’s Chief Sporting Officer, expressed his enthusiasm for the platform’s potential to deliver high-quality data insights to a broader range of players. Originally launched in 2023, the platform was developed in collaboration with Tennis Data Innovations (TDI) and TennisViz. The latest iteration expands access for players across both the ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour, featuring an upgraded user interface for enhanced usability. The platform’s advanced scouting and video tools offer comprehensive analysis of opponents and match performance, while integration with wearable technology focuses on physical performance metrics.
These advancements provide players with immediate access to enriched data and analytics, supporting their preparation, improving training techniques, refining strategies, and enhancing in-match decision-making. This launch is part of a broader partnership between ATP and PIF aimed at advancing the global tennis landscape and its future.
PIF serves as the official naming partner of the ATP Rankings, celebrating players’ achievements throughout the season and honoring excellence as the Year-End No. 1 is crowned at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Italy. Additionally, PIF collaborates with ATP Tour events in Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid, Beijing, and the Nitto ATP Finals, as well as the Next Gen ATP Finals Presented by PIF, which will be hosted in Jeddah until 2027.
