Sportradar Extends Partnership with Wimbledon for Betting Rights

In a significant development for the sports technology sector, Sportradar Group AG has announced the continuation of its partnership with The Championships, Wimbledon, through an extended data and audiovisual (AV) betting rights agreement. This renewal, effective from June 2026, ensures Sportradar’s exclusive global distribution of official data and AV betting rights for both the main draw and the Qualifying Competition of Wimbledon. This agreement follows Sportradar’s acquisition of IMG ARENA in 2025, which initially secured these rights.

With this extension, Sportradar solidifies its leadership in the global tennis market, now covering three of the four Grand Slam tournaments – Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open – alongside comprehensive ATP and UTR coverage. Each year, Sportradar delivers data and AV content for over 40,000 tennis matches to its worldwide clientele.

Sportradar is strategically positioned to maximize the value of Wimbledon rights through its expansive distribution network, cutting-edge data capabilities, proprietary technology, and diverse product offerings. The renewal facilitates deeper integration of official data into innovative betting and fan engagement products, including expanded micro betting and player markets. These enhancements, powered by Sportradar’s real-time odds, aim to boost in-play engagement significantly.

Moritz Gloeckler, EVP Rights and Strategic Projects at Sportradar, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “The Championships is one of the most iconic properties in global sport. Collaborating exclusively with the All England Club allows us to deliver the most accurate, real-time data from Wimbledon into the global betting ecosystem, alongside the integrity services we provide. By integrating advanced live markets and micro betting capabilities, we enable our partners to offer more immersive engagement throughout every point, game, and set.”

Paul Davies, Associate Director, Broadcast, Production & Media Rights at the All England Club, commented on the extended partnership, “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Sportradar and establish our first direct agreement for the distribution of Wimbledon’s official data and audiovisual betting rights. Delivering accurate, official data from The Championships globally is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our event while fostering innovation in fan engagement with the sport.”
