NetCam is strategically installed on either side of the net, delivering a unique panoramic perspective of the action on Wimbledon’s Centre and No. 1 Courts. The creation of the NetCam device is the result of extensive research conducted at Telstra’s Globecam facility in Melbourne. This development was carried out in collaboration with tennis authorities and the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) to ensure its effectiveness. The Globecam team has engineered proprietary camera and software technology, culminating in a unique device encased in a custom-designed housing. This technology captures live play with superior HD quality, stabilization, and a level of control that was previously unattainable.
